Fragrance Notes

Perfume is built in a pyramid,
so when placed on the skin, it will sprind to life.

 

TOP NOTES:

These are used to bring everything to the top. Without top notes a fragrance would be flat and without life. Top notes will only be evident to the nose for the firest few minutes. Citrus, aromatic, and green notes are frequently used as top notes.

HEART NOTES:

The essense of the fragrance is called the heart note(s). This tier lasts about 4-5 hours. Floral, woods, and spices are often used as middle or heart notes.

BASE NOTES:

Notes that are used to hold the fragrance to the skin and will determine the ultimate staying power of the fragrance. Depending on the fragrance and its composition, base notes are typically evident to the nose after the 7th hour. Common base notes are balsamic, amber, and musks.

Vetiver, Cedar, Sandalwood

MOSSES:
Oak Moss, Patchouli

RESINS:
Incense, Myrrh

AMBER:
Benzoin, Tonka Beans, Vanilla
